Tan Fat Looks Better Than White Fat!

My friend always used to say that and how true it is! We look just a little more toned when we have some sun. But, to protect our skin, it's best to use self-tanners. There are so many out there to choose from. These are the ones I've been using for years and I love them!


This is for my face. It's from Lancome, called Flash Bronzer. My aunt actually used it and I loved how it looked on her so I got it. It gives you a natural glow, without looking orange. It says it's discontinued online but I just bought some at a Macy's store the other day. So don't fret :) It's a gel texture, which I like better than a thick lotion for my face. It's only $29.23 including tax. I bought mine a year and a half ago and just barely bought a new one, and the old one still had a little bit left. So it lasts a while.




So I just learned from my clever sister-in-law that this L'Oreal product is pretty much the same as the product I use above! A lot of the ingredients are the same and it's made by the same manufacturing company. It's L'Oreal, so obviously a lot cheaper. I just looked online and it was around the $10 range in the store and less online. So, if you'd rather spend $10 on a self-tanner, by all means, get this one. I've never tried it, so I can't tell you how well it works. But from what it sounds like, it's pretty much the same, you're just not paying for the name brand. It's called L'Oreal Sumblime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee.






I've tried a lot of self-tanners in my day and most of them smelled! This one isn't bad and it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Seriously. It gives me a great color and it's only $22.50 at KIEHL'S.
