
Try and add these to your workout if you haven't already. They get your heart rate up faster than jumping jacks. But not only are you breathing heavy, you are working your upper body strength and your core (lower back and abdominal area.)
If you don't remember how to do them, you place your hands flat on the ground as shown above. Keep your body leveled with the ground, do not lift your back end too high off the ground.
Moderate: Bring one knee into your chest at a time. The more advanced you get you can do it quicker, but start off slow.
Advanced: Alternate each leg by kicking your knees into your chest (obviously you won't hit your chest) but bring your knees in. Try and do this three separate times for 30 seconds each.
There's no excuse NOT to do something today. Even if this is the only thing you do. DO SOMETHING. You can do this while your kids are watching morning cartoons :)
