
Since we did intervals on Monday, and we're probably a little sore from yesterday, we'll do a lighter cardio today,
a little.
Choose your cardio activity, and do a pyramid like this:
- Start at walking speed
- Each minute raise your incline by 1
- Every two minutes raise your speed by 1
- When you get to your max incline and speed, stay there for a minute, then start your way back down gradually, just as you did on the way up.
There will be some time where it will be intense in both the incline and speed, but don't slow it down or bring your incline down before it's time, it won't last too long :) If you're not on a machine, you can just do this with speed alone or with hills outside. You'll only get to a high speed for about 5 minutes throughout the workout instead of the whole time.
