Foods to Enjoy Phase II- Ultra Metabolism Cont'd

In Ultrametabolism the idea is to kick start your metabolism by detoxing your body. That is PHASE I for two weeks. Phase II is basically for the rest of your life :) Be sure to go back and read the previous posts so you can understand why it is so important to eat whole, unprocessed foods, and the affects of sugar and bad carbs (white flour) on your body. (Click here to see previous post.)

Remember that all lists apply to the foods to enjoy for Phase I of the detox. So they are in addition to the other foods you can enjoy. The reason there are more is he added the dairy and more grains, because he wanted you to notice if your body was sensitive to those foods since they are high in allergies.

Basically eat whole, unprocessed, organic foods as much as possible and you will be healthier, and thinner. Eat the foods that our ancestors ate and your body will understand what you're putting into your body and know what to do with it. I love being able to understand what the effects of food are on me, but it's nice to have a comprehensive list like this to see what foods I should be eating and avoiding. Again, these lists are from the book, Ultrametabolism.
