Beautiful Face

These are my two favorite face products.  You all know about Bare Minerals, right?  Some people like it, some don't.  I have sensitive skin and this is the only face makeup that doesn't break me out, and I think it looks pretty natural and not cakey.

What some people don't like about it, are two things:
1.  It is (was) super shiny and can be tough for people with shiny complexions (like me), and
2. It is (was) limited in colors.

Well...there's something called Bare Minerals MATTE and it takes care of the extra shine that some people don't like.  I think Bare Minerals Matte is more natural looking than any other face powder out there, including Mac.  But hey, maybe that's just me.

The second thing is that they USED to be limited in colors, but now they've added a few shades in between, which I'm SUPER excited about!  I used to be between Fairly Light and Light, the first being too light and the later too dark.  Now they have Golden Fair, which is in between and perfect for me.  There are also new additions in the Medium complexion line, for those with pink undertones ( the Light line is for those with yellow undertones in case you were wondering).

It's also pretty reasonable in price.  There is some super expensive mineral makeup out there, like Laura Mercier or Makeup Forever, and they're at least $40 - $45.  This lasts me at least 3 months, usually longer.  So you can't go wrong for the price and the quality product you're getting.

The second thing that's my favorite is the Too Faced Kabuki Retractable Brush.  I HATED the kabuki brush from Bare Minerals, DON'T BUY THAT ONE!  The one from Bare Minerals is made with real hair, but you don't want that because over time the hair gets brittle and it hurts to put it on your face, even if you clean it often.

This one from Too Faced is synthetic, and so are the other nice ones (that are the same price as Bare Minerals Kabukis.)   It is super soft and smooth and will always stay that way since it's synthetic.  I also love that it's retractable!  Not only because it's convenient that I can put a lid on it in my makeup bag either.  If there's an area that I want the coverage to go on heavier, like over a blemish or around my nose,  I pull up the sides of the brush and it makes the hairs pull tightly together, instead of being spread out, and it makes it easy to put on heavier coverage or pin point a specific area where I want it.

So there you have it!  Hope you have a beautiful weekend and a Happy Halloween!  I'll see you Monday!
